Supporting Fire Service Leadership

The Western Division works to strengthen the fire and emergency services by:

  • Developing Leaders: Providing education, professional development, and networking opportunities for chief officers and emergency service managers.
  • Providing Resources: Delivering timely information and industry insights through resources such as the Daily Dispatch and Fire Headlines podcast.
  • Creating Connections: Bringing fire service leaders together through events, including the annual IGNITE Symposium.
  • Advancing Public Safety: Supporting efforts to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and mitigate fires, life-safety incidents, and all-hazard emergencies.

Through regional collaboration, education, and shared resources, the Western Division helps fire and emergency service leaders strengthen their organizations and better serve their communities.
